In the state, residents have been facing discomfort due to heat and humidity over the past few days, and reports indicate that these high temperatures will continue in the upcoming days. The Indian Meteorological Department has noted that favorable conditions for rainfall have emerged in Northeast India, with expectations of heavy rain and strong winds in several locations. This weather pattern will similarly effect scattered areas in South Central Maharashtra and Marathwada, where light rain is anticipated in these regions. The regional meteorological center has forecasted light rain showers in scattered areas of South Central Maharashtra and Marathwada on February 23 and 24.
