Joint Crackdown By Pune Traffic Police And RTO On No-Parking Violations Near Swargate Bus Stand, Rs.1.48 Lakh Fine Collected
On March 4, 2025, Flying Squad of Pune Regional Transport Organisation (RTO) Unit 3, in coordination with the Pune Traffic police, conducted a joint operation to enforce the 200-meter no-parking zone around the bus stand near Mitramandal close to Swargate.
During the drive, 20 violators were penalized by the Flying Squad team. The focus of the action was on permits, insurance, badges, licenses, no-parking violations, and uniform compliance, ensuring passenger safety.
As a result of this inspection, authorities collected fines totaling ₹1,48,500 from violators. The enforcement drive highlights the importance of traffic discipline and public safety in congested areas.
