Pune: Traffic regulations in the East Street area of Pune Lashkar have been temporarily changed due to ongoing sewer line installation work between Krishna Kanhaiya Society and Khanya Maruti Chowk. These changes will remain in effect until April 2.

As per the new traffic arrangement, vehicles traveling through the East Street area will not be allowed to turn right near Tryluck Hotel. Instead, motorists must turn left at Khanya Maruti Chowk, proceed towards Pul Gate, and take a right turn at Ghorpadi Maidan Chowk before reaching their destination via Y Junction and Triluck Hotel Chowk. Additionally, vehicles will not be allowed to turn left from Ghorpadi Maidan Chowk towards Khanya Maruti Chowk. Drivers must go straight towards East Street via Volga Chowk or take a left turn at Indira Gandhi Chowk to reach their destination.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Amol Zende has urged motorists to follow the revised routes. Parking restrictions have also been imposed on both sides of the road from Ghorpadi Maidan Chowk to Tryluck Hotel.
