Pune, March 6, 2025 – In a late-night meeting at 11 PM, residents of Parge Nagar gathered with Kondhwa Police Inspector Vinayak Patankar to highlight pressing safety and civic issues in the area. Over 40 residents participated in the discussion, which aimed to strengthen cooperation between the community and law enforcement.

Sameer Punjabi, a resident and founding member of the Parge Nagar Kondhwa Peoples Forum, expressed gratitude to PI Patankar and his team for their support, emphasizing that the collective effort of residents made a significant impact.

 Faster Police Response: A designated patrolling point near Merryland School will ensure quicker police action against disturbances.

 Incident Reporting: Residents are urged to document incidents with clear images, particularly capturing bike and car number plates, to facilitate         immediate police action.

 Action Against Modified Silencers: PI Patankar assured strict measures against bikes with modified silencers. Residents are encouraged to report violators with clear number plate images.

 Cafes & Parking Regulation: Steps will be taken to streamline parking around cafes, improving traffic flow and minimizing inconvenience.

 Increased Patrolling: Frequent trouble spots will now have enhanced police patrolling for better security.

 Women’s Safety: Special attention will be given to areas near cafes where loitering occurs. Strict action will be taken against those causing discomfort to women.

The meeting marked a significant step towards a safer Parge Nagar, reinforcing the importance of active community participation in maintaining law and order.
