Pune, March 11, 2025: The Pune Traffic Police have announced temporary traffic restrictions at Kharadi Dargah Chowk to manage congestion and ensure smoother traffic movement. The new rules, effective from March 10, 2025, will remain in place until further notice.
Key Traffic Changes
To reduce congestion and improve traffic flow, the following changes have been implemented:
Right Turn Prohibited: Vehicles coming from Pune and Kharadi Bypass will not be allowed to take a right turn at Kharadi Dargah Chowk towards Kharadi Gaon/Yooan IT Park.
Alternative Route: Vehicles must proceed 250 meters ahead from Kharadi Bypass Chowk, take a U-turn beyond the bus stop, and then make a left turn at Kharadi Dargah Chowk to reach their destination.
Public Feedback Invited
Residents can submit suggestions or objections regarding these changes to the Deputy Commissioner of Traffic Control Branch, Pune (Bungalow No. 6, Jail Road, Yerwada Post Office) between March 10 and March 25, 2025.
After reviewing public feedback, a final decision will be taken while ensuring that emergency vehicles, including fire brigades, police vehicles, and ambulances, remain unaffected.
The Pune Traffic Police urge commuters and residents to follow the new traffic regulations for safer and smoother road movement in Kharadi.
