Controversy Erupts: Salman Khan Accused of 'Forcing' Rashmika Mandanna to Pose for Paparazzi in Mumbai (VIDEO)
Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, the stars of the new film “Sikandar,” are busy promoting their movie. Just hours after the film premiered in theaters on Sunday evening (March 30), the pair was seen in Mumbai. While many photos and videos of their appearance are circulating online, one clip has gone viral, attracting a lot of attention from fans.
In the viral video, Salman Khan is seen posing for photographers as Rashmika Mandanna steps out of her car. However, before Rashmika could fully exit the vehicle, Salman appears to “pull” her out, a move that has drawn criticism from social media users. Many netizens have questioned the actor’s actions, expressing their disapproval.
“He forced her to step out for a picture,” one comment read. While Rashmika hasn’t reacted to the video yet, a fan noted, “She clearly looks uncomfortable with his behavior.”
“Why did he misbehave with her?” a user asked on Instagram. Another commented under the video, “Why did he pull her hand away like that?”
“That’s not right. She is visibly uneasy,” another user commented.
Fans stand up for Salman Khan:
Several users defended the actor, questioning what was wrong with him simply holding her hand. “So what if he held her hand? Why make such a big deal out of it? These people always find something to criticize and turn it into news,” one comment read.
A fan stood up for Salman, saying, “Rashmika’s leg is hurt. They are just helping her.”
“There’s nothing wrong here! He just pulled her back so they could take a picture together,” commented another user.
Salman and Rashmika’s “Sikandar,” directed by AR Murugadoss, marked their first on-screen collaboration. The film premiered on March 30, coinciding with Eid.
On its opening day, “Sikandar” earned Rs 26 crore in India. This figure is less than the first-day collection of “Chhaava,” which starred Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika. The film also fell short of Salman’s previous release, “Tiger Zinda Hai,” which had earned Rs 33 crore on its first day.
