Next Installment of ‘Mazi Ladki Bahin’ Scheme Likely on Akshaya Tritiya
The ‘Mazi Ladki Bahin’ scheme, considered an ambitious initiative by the Mahayuti government, has an important update for its women beneficiaries.
According to recent information, the next installment will be credited on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, which falls on April 30. Beneficiaries are advised to wait until then to receive the funds.
Women who did not receive the March 8 installment are expected to get both pending payments together on that day. The delay has drawn attention, but officials confirm the money will reach accounts on the Akshaya Tritiya muhurat.
The number of beneficiaries saw an increase during the March installment. However, this number may change for the upcoming one. After a fresh round of scrutiny, the final count of eligible women may decrease.
It remains to be seen whether the number of beneficiaries will increase or drop this time. The government had requested data from the Income Tax Department to verify eligibility, but the department has not yet provided the details.
So far, no announcement has been made regarding the Rs. 2,100 installment that was previously discussed. Hence, it is likely that only Rs. 1,500 will be deposited this month as well.
The scheme, which aims to provide financial support to women across Maharashtra, continues to generate interest and hope among beneficiaries. Officials have assured that eligible women will receive their due amounts on time, though some adjustments may happen after the ongoing verification process.
