Pune Welcomes Trimandir: A New Spiritual Landmark on Pune-Bengaluru Highway
Pune, 13 April 2025 – Pune has added a remarkable spiritual destination to its cultural landscape with the recent inauguration of Trimandir, a non-sectarian temple inspired by the teachings of Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan. Located near Varve Budruk, close to Khed Shivapur along the Pune-Bengaluru Highway, the Trimandir is now open to the public and currently hosting vibrant spiritual festivities.
A Temple of Unity
Trimandir is a unique spiritual space that brings together the divine representations of three major spiritual lineages under one roof—Tirthankar Shri Simandhar Swami Bhagwan (Jainism), Shri Krishna Bhagwan (Vaishnavism), and Shri Shiva Bhagwan (Shaivism). At the heart of the temple is a 13-foot-tall marble idol of Simandhar Swami, radiating serenity and spiritual energy.
This architectural and spiritual marvel stands as a symbol of religious harmony, echoing Dada Bhagwan’s vision of uniting humanity beyond sectarian boundaries.
The temple was inaugurated with a grand Pran-Pratishtha Mahotsav in February 2025, drawing thousands of devotees from across India and abroad. The event featured satsang sessions led by Pujya Deepakbhai Desai and recordings of spiritual talks by the late Atmagyani Dr. Niruma, offering deep insights into self-realization and inner peace.
More Than Just a Temple
Covering an area of approximately 23,000 square feet, the Trimandir complex includes a spacious 7,800-square-foot podium, a satsang hall, Unodari Bhavan (dining hall), and a guesthouse to accommodate visitors. The campus is designed to be fully wheelchair accessible, ensuring inclusivity for all devotees.
In addition to the main deities, the temple houses idols of Tulja Bhavani Mata, Amba Mata, Shrinathji, Shri Ganpatiji, Shri Hanumanji, and Shri Saibaba, representing the inclusive and welcoming spirit of the Trimandir philosophy.
A Growing Spiritual Movement
The Pune Trimandir becomes the 20th Trimandir to be established in India, joining a growing network of non-sectarian temples based on Dada Bhagwan’s teachings. New Trimandirs are currently under construction in Veraval, Surat, and Thane.
As celebrations continue, thousands of visitors are participating in the spiritual festivities. The event is not only a religious milestone but also a cultural celebration promoting peace, unity, and spiritual growth.
