Here’s a guide to the city’s best shopping areas and what you should look for in each.

Laxmi Road – Sarees, Traditional Wear and Kolhapuri Chappals
One of Pune’s most iconic shopping streets, Laxmi Road has long been the preferred destination for festive and wedding shopping. The market is lined with stores selling Paithani, silk, cotton and designer sarees, dress materials, traditional jewellery and ethnic wear. It is also well known for Kolhapuri chappals, leather footwear, handbags and imitation jewellery. During the festive season, the entire stretch comes alive with shoppers from across Maharashtra.
Mahatma Gandhi (M.G.) Road – Branded Fashion and Street Shopping
