With the same blue signage and cheeky branding, this desi Domino’s lookalike has taken the internet by storm

In a country where creativity knows no bounds, a new copycat pizza outlet in India is serving both pizzas and laughs. Meet D’manoj Pizza, a local knockoff of the American giant Domino’s, that’s gone viral for its uncanny resemblance to the original.

Sporting the same blue theme, a similar name, and a familiar menu, the modest roadside outlet promises the “real taste of pizza” and proudly advertises “pure veg” options, burgers, pastas, and shakes. The imitation didn’t go unnoticed especially after a popular Instagram content creator shared a hilarious video showcasing the store, complete with witty commentary.

The video has now amassed 27.8 million views.

In the viral clip, the creator jokes, “Pehle America kehta tha, kya hai tu, ab hum kehte hai, tu kya hai, ye dekho, D’manoj Pizza.” The cheeky caption read, “Pizza was unexpectedly good.”

What truly turned heads was Domino’s India’s own response to the post, playfully commenting: “Yahan ka address milega?”, proving even corporate giants can enjoy a good meme moment.

The internet, of course, jumped in:

  • Domynose Pizza,” joked one.
  • “Domino’s (no), D’manoj (yes),” wrote another.
  • Others chimed in with mock knockoffs: “Kfc (no), K’asif (yes),” and “Starbucks (no), Sattaarbakhsh (yes).”

While legal eyes might twitch, social media is clearly having a field day with India’s uniquely desi twist on global brands.
