In preparation for the upcoming Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) elections, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has held a crucial meeting in Pune, signalling its intent to contest all seats independently. The meeting was organized at the party’s city office and attended by local MNS office-bearers. It was convened against the backdrop of the approaching local body elections.

According to sources, MNS plans to contest the PMC elections on its own. Party chief Raj Thackeray is scheduled to visit Pune on June 9, during which he will hold an important meeting with all local party functionaries.

Reports suggest that major organizational changes could be announced during this visit. A complete overhaul of the Pune MNS leadership is likely, with several branch heads expected to be replaced.
