Pune, June 6: As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, Pune-based Connecting Trust is extending its support to the 13th edition of the Pune Pride Walk, organised by Yutak Charitable Trust on June 8. The Pride March will begin at 4:30 pm from Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalay Chowk, Bajirao Road, and conclude by 6:30 pm.

A volunteer-driven mental health organisation, Connecting Trust has long worked with marginalised communities, offering emotional support through helplines, emails, and closed-group listening circles. Their focus remains on creating safe, compassionate spaces, particularly for members of the LGBTQ+ community who often face isolation and stigma.

On June 7, a day before the march, Connecting and Yutak will jointly host a cultural pre-Pride event at Kohinoor Mangal Karyalaya, off Karve Road. The programme includes dance, music, poetry, a play, and a panel discussion featuring community members and allies, including Connecting CEO Pranita Madkaikar.
