Pimpri-Chinchwad: The tragic Air India plane crash in Ahmedabad on June 12, 2025, has shaken the entire nation. Among the 241 passengers who lost their lives was Irfan Shaikh, a cabin crew member and resident of Sant Tukaram Nagar, Pimpri.
The heartbreaking news has left the local community in deep mourning. Irfan was remembered as a dedicated professional and a warm-hearted individual. His untimely death has cast a pall of grief over his neighbourhood and among those who knew him personally.
An emotional tribute was paid by Member of Parliament Shirur Constituency Dr. Amol Kolhe, who shared a heartfelt message on social media platform X, expressing condolences to Irfan’s family.
Amir Shaikh, his brother is in Ahmedabad currently.
“May his soul attain peace and may his family find the strength to bear this loss,” Dr. Kolhe wrote.
