Polytechnic Admissions 2025 In Maharashtra: Application Deadline Extended To June 26
Pune: Deadline Extended For Applications For Diploma In Arts To July 5Â
Maharashtra’s Minister for Higher and Technical Education, Chandrakant Patil, announced that the deadline to submit applications for first-year Diploma (Polytechnic) Engineering courses has been extended to June 26, 2025 . This decision was taken in view of the increasing number of student applications and the delays many are facing in obtaining necessary certificates.
So far, 1,28,102 students have registered for the admission process, out of which 1,10,000 candidates have successfully submitted their applications after paying the required fees.

Due to the overwhelming response and to support students still in the process of collecting their documents, the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has decided to extend the application deadline. Students who are yet to apply can now do so by the revised deadline.
Interested candidates are advised to visit the official website dte.maharashtra.gov.in to check the detailed schedule , admission procedure, and to complete their applications within the newly extended timeframe.
The minister urged eligible students to make the most of this opportunity and complete their submissions promptly to secure a place in the diploma engineering programs for the academic year 2025-26.
