Chennai Tech Firm Gifts 25 SUVs to Employees on 10th Anniversary; Internet Applauds the Grand Gesture
A Chennai-based tech company, Agilisium, has given 25 Hyundai Creta SUVs to some of its longest-serving employees. This was part of the company’s 10th anniversary celebration, which took place at its office in the World Trade Centre, Chennai. The event was attended by over 500 employees, as reported by The Hindu Business Line.
Agilisium is a tech startup that works in the data and life sciences field. It was started 10 years ago and is based in Chennai. The company gave the cars to 25 employees who had been working there since the beginning. These employees had completed 10 years with the company.
The company had kept the surprise a secret. When the 25 cars were brought in during the event, each had the employee’s name on the number plate. The crowd cheered as the cars were revealed. The employees who received the cars were emotional, and their families, who were also present, joined them in the celebration.
The company later posted pictures and videos from the event on LinkedIn. Sharing the news they wrote, “We honoured employees who had completed ten years of service by gifting SUV cars. This act embodied our belief that giving back to our people is the foundation of lasting success.”
“This wasn’t merely a recognition of tenure; it celebrated the spirit of generosity in our culture from the start. As long-serving colleagues drove off in their SUVs, they reflected on the journey, the challenges overcome, the teams they helped build, and the confidence in a shared future.” Many people saw the post online and praised Agilisium for recognising its employees in such a big way.
Apart from giving the cars, the company also gave performance-based pay hikes to employees at all levels. This means that workers across different positions got salary increases based on their work. The move was also part of the anniversary celebrations. It showed that the company wants to reward people who work hard and stay committed.
