Pune Accident: Woman Injured After Autorickshaw Hits Her in Gokhale Nagar, Another Woman Dies in Baner Mishap

A shocking accident was caught on CCTV in Pune’s Gokhale Nagar, where a woman pedestrian was injured after being struck by an autorickshaw. The incident, captured on a rainy day, has since gone viral on social media.

In the footage, the woman is seen walking with an umbrella when an autorickshaw suddenly hits her from the side, giving her no chance to react. She falls to the ground from the impact. The auto driver is then seen stopping and rushing to help her.
The exact date and time of the incident are yet to be confirmed.
In a separate tragic incident, a young female engineer from Thane lost her life in a road accident in Baner during the early hours of Thursday. She had arrived in Pune seeking employment and was celebrating her birthday with a friend on Wednesday night. While returning on a two-wheeler via Jupiter Hospital Road around 12:30 am, their vehicle was hit by a speeding dumper truck. The impact proved fatal for the woman.
