Pune Airport Introduces ‘Meet and Greet’ And Porter Services For Hassle-Free Travel
Pune Airport has launched ‘meet and greet’ and porter services to enhance passenger convenience, especially for senior citizens, women, people with disabilities, and those carrying heavy luggage.
The initiative, inspired by the traditional porter system at railway stations, aims to provide seamless assistance to travelers from entry to security check for departures and from the conveyor belt to taxi stands for arrivals.
Two special counters have been set up at the new terminal for passengers to book these services. Dedicated staff will handle luggage efficiently, reducing the stress of managing multiple or heavy bags within the airport premises.
Passengers can hire assistance for a nominal fee, making the airport experience more comfortable and accessible for all. Airport authorities reported a positive response, with many travelers appreciating the thoughtful move to make journeys smoother and more stress-free.
