Pune: Ferguson College Gets Approval For Two New Class 11 Divisions
Pune, July 12, 2025: Deccan Education Society’s prestigious Ferguson Junior College has received approval for two additional divisions for Class 11 from the School Education and Sports Department. The update was shared by the college’s Principal, Dr. Shyam Mude, on Saturday.
As per the approval, one new division each has been added to the Arts and Science streams in the English medium under the self-financed scheme. With this addition, Ferguson College now offers a total of eight Science divisions and four Arts divisions. Each of the newly approved divisions will provide seats for 120 students, giving more aspiring candidates an opportunity to pursue their higher secondary education at the renowned institution.
The Class 11 admissions are currently being carried out through the centralized admission process (CAP). Today (Sunday) marks the last date for students to finalize their preferences for the second round. Students and parents are advised to update their choice of colleges accordingly to secure admission in the upcoming rounds.
