Pimpri: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has launched a stringent enforcement drive against property tax defaulters across the city. The Property Tax Department has begun issuing notices to property owners who have failed to pay their dues despite repeated reminders. In cases where there is no response, the Corporation has initiated property seizure and disconnection of water connections as stringent actions.

PCMC Assistant Commissioner of the Property Tax Department, Avinash Shinde, has appealed to citizens to clear their outstanding dues immediately to avoid harsh recovery measures. “Those with unpaid property tax should pay without further delay. We are forced to initiate measures like disconnection of water supply and property attachment to ensure compliance,” he said.
