In a remarkable showcase of creativity and persistence, a young innovator from Kerala has caught the internet’s attention by building a Lamborghini Huracan replica entirely out of scrap materials — and that too, single-handedly over three years. Meet Bibin Chacko, a self-taught car enthusiast whose inspiring DIY supercar project is earning applause across the country.

Instead of simply buying a luxury car, Bibin took a completely different route — he built one from scratch. Juggling a full-time job during the day, he worked on the car at night, pouring hours of effort and passion into the ambitious project. His total spend? Just around ₹1.5 lakh — a tiny fraction of what an actual Lamborghini would cost.

Crafted using fiberglass and multiwood, the body mirrors the aggressive design of the original Huracan with stunning detail. Under the hood, instead of a V10 engine, Bibin installed a practical Maruti 800 engine, bringing his replica to life in a uniquely Indian way. Even the chassis was designed and built by him from the ground up.

Although the car’s interior is still incomplete — with seats and other fittings yet to be finished — Bibin estimates that the project is already about 70-80% done. But the work-in-progress has already earned him massive admiration.

His journey is chronicled on YouTube in a series called Homemade Supercar, which includes nine episodes documenting every stage — from collecting scrap to shaping, designing, and painting. After popular automotive vlogger Arun Smoki shared the story on June 27, the video quickly went viral, racking up over 1 lakh views.

Social media has been abuzz with admiration. “Turning scrap into art — this takes patience and true skill,” wrote one viewer. Another added, “This man deserves recognition. Such dedication is rare.” Some fans even suggested Bibin start his own automobile brand, with one commenter urging, “Don’t call it Lamborghini — it’s your own creation. Name your brand!”

However, there was also a deeper message among the comments. “No one will lift you up here, bro. Go abroad and rise,” wrote one user — a heartfelt nod to how much more recognition talents like Bibin deserve on larger platforms.

His story has drawn comparisons to another inspiring tale from Kerala — a 67-year-old man who built an electric vehicle capable of running 60 kilometers on just one unit of electricity. Both stories are testaments to the power of imagination, persistence, and self-belief.

Bibin Chacko’s hand-built Lamborghini isn’t just a car. It’s a statement — that with skill, passion, and a bit of scrap, dreams can be driven into reality. And in the land known for its innovation and education, this Kerala creator is steering his way into countless hearts online.
