Pune Rave Party Case: Rohini Khadse Breaks Silence 24 Hours After Husband's Arrest
Pune | July 28, 2025 – The arrest of Pranjal Khewalkar, son-in-law of senior leader Eknath Khadse and husband of NCP (Sharad Pawar group) leader Rohini Khadse, in connection with a suspected rave party in Pune’s Kharadi area, has sparked political controversy. While reactions and allegations flooded the political landscape, Rohini Khadse remained silent for nearly 24 hours before issuing a cautious and composed response.
Breaking her silence, Rohini Khadse posted a picture with her husband Pranjal Khewalkar on her official X (formerly Twitter) account, stating, “I have complete faith in the law and the police system. Time is the only answer to everything. The truth will come out at the right time. Jai Maharashtra!”
Meanwhile, Eknath Khadse responded to the controversy with restraint. “Given the current climate, I had a slight sense that something like this might happen. I won’t speak much about it. I’ve only seen media reports about the incident and haven’t spoken to them directly. But if it truly was a rave party and my son-in-law is guilty, I will not support him,” he stated.
What Happened:
Pune Police received a tip-off about a rave party disguised as a house party at a flat in the Kharadi area. Acting on the information, the police conducted a raid and detained five individuals—three women and two men. During the raid, narcotic substances, hookahs, and alcohol were recovered. Shockingly, it was revealed that one of the accused is Pranjal Khewalkar, the son-in-law of Eknath Khadse. The investigation is ongoing.
