Pune, August 8, 2025: The long-awaited Pune–Nagpur Vande Bharat Express is set to begin operations from August 10, 2025. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially flag off the high-speed train, which promises to revolutionize travel between Pune and Nagpur.

Designed for speed, comfort, and efficiency, the new Vande Bharat Express is expected to significantly cut travel time while enhancing safety and convenience for passengers. The launch of this service marks a major step forward in strengthening transportation links between Vidarbha and Western Maharashtra.

The train will make scheduled stops at several key stations including Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Bhusawal, Jalgaon, Manmad, Kopargaon, Ahmednagar, and Daund—ensuring improved regional access and development.

Union Minister of State Muralidhar Mohol noted that the new rail service will accelerate Maharashtra’s overall progress by supporting economic growth across sectors such as trade, education, healthcare, and industry.
