Amanora School witnessed a vibrant celebration of literature, creativity, and imagination with the grand launch of its flagship 15 Books Reading Campaign and the unveiling of the 4th Edition of Abhivyakti – A Voyage of Expression, the much-awaited interschool literary competition.
The event commenced with a warm welcome to the distinguished guests, school leaders, teachers, and students. The gathering was graced by the presence of eminent authors and literary mentors, Ms. Sagarika Saha and Ms. Divya Chakraborty, whose inspiring journeys in the fields of literature, science, entrepreneurship, and storytelling motivated young readers and aspiring writers alike.

The ceremonial lamp lighting marked the auspicious beginning of the programme. The dignitaries, accompanied by Director-Principal Meera Ma’am, Secondary Headmistress Amrita Ma’am, and Primary Headmistress Sujata Ma’am illuminated the lamp, symbolizing the triumph of knowledge and wisdom. The ceremony formally inaugurated the 15 Books Reading Campaign and Abhivyakti – A Voyage of Expression 2026.
A highlight of the inaugural session was the captivating theatrical presentation, “The Forgotten Library.” Through powerful narration and engaging performances, students brought to life a magical world hidden within the pages of forgotten books. The musical play beautifully emphasized the enduring relevance of reading in an age dominated by digital entertainment and reminded the audience that every book holds the potential to unlock countless adventures.

This year’s theme for Abhivyakti – A Voyage of Expression, was “Fantasy – A World of Imagination and Magic,” inspired students to explore creativity through a series of unique and engaging competitions. Thirteen schools participated enthusiastically in the event: Delhi Public School, The Knowledge Habitat, The Kalyani School, EuroSchool Kharadi and Undri Ryan International Academy Bhavdhan, Hinjewadi and Wagholi, and many more.
The competitions provided students with opportunities to showcase their talents, critical thinking, artistic abilities, and expressive skills.
Different competitions were conducted for students from Grades 1 to 8, including Inanimate Expression, Book Cover Splash, Into the Villain’s Mind, Fantasy Quest Hunt, Symphony of Stories, and Wordless Wonders, providing participants with opportunities to showcase their creativity, imagination, artistic talent, and expressive skills.

Many schools bagged an impressive number of laurels, reflecting their outstanding talent and dedication. The event turned into a vibrant showcase of excellence, with each performance raising the bar and making the judges’ task of choosing the winners an extremely difficult one.
The event successfully highlighted the transformative power of reading and storytelling. Through the 15 Books Reading Campaign, students are encouraged to cultivate a lifelong habit of reading, while Abhivyakti provides them with a platform to transform imagination into meaningful expression.
Addressing the gathering, the judges emphasized the importance of reading as a gateway to knowledge, empathy, and creativity. They encouraged students to embrace books not merely as academic tools but as companions that inspire curiosity, resilience, and lifelong learning.

The day concluded with an atmosphere of excitement and accomplishment as participants, teachers, and guests celebrated the spirit of literature and creativity. The enthusiastic participation of all eight schools reflected the growing importance of reading and self-expression in nurturing well-rounded learners.
