262 Agniveervayu Trainees, Including 36 Women, Graduate At Ceremony Held In Materials Management Institute, Devlali
On Saturday, August 9, 2025, the Materials Management Institute (MMI) conducted the valedictory function for Agniveervayu trainees at Air Force Station Devlali, Nashik, marking the successful completion of the 08 week Agniveer System Training (ASTRA) in the Accounts and Supply Chain Management sub-stream.
A total of 262 Agniveervayu trainees, including 36 women, graduated on this proud occasion.
The ceremonial parade was reviewed by Air Commodore Manish Dialani, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Devlali. The event was also graced by Renu Dialani, President AFFWA (L), and witnessed by Air Force personnel and their families. In his address, the Air Commodore congratulated the Parade Commander and the participants for their immaculate turnout and precise, synchronized drill movements, reflecting the high standards of training and discipline. He also commended Group Captain S. Suresh Kumar, Commanding Officer of MMI, and his team for their dedicated efforts in delivering quality training.
He urged the trainees to build a strong foundation of knowledge, remain eager to learn, and strive for excellence in their careers while upholding the Indian Air Force’s core values of Mission, Integrity, and Excellence in the service of nation-building.
The august gathering witnessed an inspiring drill performance and Bayonet Fighting demonstration by the women Agniveervayu trainees, showcasing the discipline and professionalism instilled during their training. Dignitaries from sister services, civil domains, and families of Air Force Station Devlali graced the event and lauded the exceptional drill display by the Agniveervayu trainees.
