Jolly LLB 3 Teaser: Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi Bring Hilarious Courtroom Drama, Saurabh Shukla Steals the Spotlight
The courtroom chaos is about to return, and this time, it’s double the drama, double the fun! Just a day ahead of the official teaser release, the makers of Jolly LLB 3 have dropped an exciting motion poster featuring the two stars of the franchise – Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi – reigniting the much-anticipated face-off between the two Jollys.
Set in a mock courtroom tug-of-war, the poster playfully teases the rivalry between the two advocates. The caption that accompanied the motion poster read, “Case number 1722 ki yachika manzoor! Advocate Jolly aur Advocate Jolly hazir!” – confirming the legal clash is officially on.
For fans who’ve followed the franchise since its inception, this marks a major moment: both Jollys – Arshad Warsi’s Jagdish Tyagi from Meerut and Akshay Kumar’s Jagadishwar Mishra from Kanpur – will share the screen for the first time in the same installment. The film is helmed once again by Subhash Kapoor, the director behind the previous two chapters, ensuring continuity in tone and narrative.
Earlier this month, a humorous promotional video starring Saurabh Shukla, who reprises his beloved role as Judge Tripathi, gave fans a glimpse into the madness to come. In it, he hilariously recalled the misadventures of both lawyers – calling Jolly from Meerut short-tempered with questionable English, while describing the Kanpur Jolly as “sweet enough to give you diabetes.”
The newly released teaser, clocking in at 1 minute and 30 seconds, introduces us to both versions of Jolly – first, Warsi’s character trying to convince everyone that he’s a changed man. But just when he thinks he has the upper hand, Akshay’s version of Jolly storms in to challenge him in court. The teaser closes with a frustrated Judge Tripathi declaring that the only purpose the two Jollys seem to serve is to ruin his peace of mind. Fans were also delighted to catch a witty nod to “Kallu Mama,” a tribute to Saurabh Shukla’s iconic role from Satya.
Akshay Kumar, in a recent interview with PinkVilla, expressed his excitement about working alongside Arshad, saying, “Me and Arshad Warsi are coming together, so ‘Jolly 1’ and ‘Jolly 2’ are coming together. And, so much fun I had working with him. He’s such a lovely lad. Such a lovely person to work with and a great sense of humour. He has good timing.”
He also praised director Subhash Kapoor’s writing, stating, “Everyone knows what an incredible writer he is. He crafts films with just his pen, and his lines are truly beautiful. I’m a big fan of his work.”
As for the story, Akshay confirmed that Jolly LLB 3, much like its predecessors, draws inspiration from real-life incidents.
Social media is already buzzing with excitement. A flood of comments on YouTube and Instagram reflect the hype:
“Ye film dekhne ke baad hi mai LLB kar raha hoon (I pursued LLB after watching this film).”
Another user wrote, “Akshay +Arshad +Saurabh = Full entertainment.”
One excited fan declared, “This one is going to be epic just like Hera Pheri, Khatta Meetha, De Dana Dan.”
Even Bhumi Pednekar chimed in with, “Tooooooooooooo good!!!” and actress Chitrangada Singh dropped enthusiastic clapping emojis.
With the teaser already setting the stage ablaze and fans waiting to witness the clash of courtroom titans, Jolly LLB 3 seems poised to be the comedy blockbuster of the year. Get ready to witness the ultimate legal showdown when the film hits theatres on September 19. Court is in session — and it’s going to be hilariously intense!
