Pune, September 1, 2025: A Pune-Delhi SpiceJet flight was forced to return to Pune Airport shortly after take-off on Monday morning due to a technical issue.Â
The pilot requested clearance to land back at Pune after noticing the problem during the flight. Permission was granted, and the aircraft landed safely without incident.
Some passengers initially described the incident as an emergency landing, but airport officials clarified that no such procedure was initiated.
The flight had departed from Pune as scheduled but was brought back when the pilot detected a technical glitch mid-air. Engineers were deployed to inspect the aircraft after landing, and arrangements for the passengers were handled by the airline.
