Pune RPO To Hold Special Open House On March 4 To Resolve Passport Police Verification Issues
Pune, September 4, 2025: In a move to enhance accessibility and speed up passport services, the Regional Passport Office (RPO), Pune, will operate a Passport Mobile Seva Kendra (Mobile Van) at Narayangaon, Taluka Junnar, between September 10 and 12, 2025.
The initiative, under the Ministry of External Affairs, aims to provide earlier passport appointments and improve last-mile delivery of services for residents in semi-urban and rural areas.
The mobile seva kendra will function at Muktai Samaj Mangal Karyalay, Narayangaon, Pune (410504). Applicants are advised to check the required document checklist carefully for both adult and minor applicants before applying online.
According to the Passports Act, 1967, and the Passports Rules, 1980, the Passport Authority may request additional information or documents if deemed necessary to verify the genuineness of an applicant.
How to Book an Appointment:
- Visit the official website: www.passportindia.gov.in
- Submit the passport application under the NORMAL scheme.
- Complete the online payment process.
- On the ‘Schedule Appointment’ page, select the location “RPO Pune Junnar Mobile Van” and book the appointment.

Visit the Passport India website (https://www.passportindia.gov.in) submit the application under the NORMAL scheme. and ii. After making the online payment, go to the ‘schedule appointment page’, select location ‘RPO Pune Junnar Mobile Van’ and book the appointment.
