The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 has released its much-awaited list of top management institutions in India, reaffirming the dominance of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Once again, IIM Ahmedabad has secured the number one spot, followed by IIM Bangalore and IIM Kozhikode, while XLRI Jamshedpur has also made it to the Top 10 MBA colleges this year.

The rankings, announced on September 4, 2025, highlight the country’s premier business schools that continue to set benchmarks in academic excellence, corporate interface, and global exposure. Alongside the IIMs, institutions like IIT Delhi’s Department of Management Studies (DMS), Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurugram, and XLRI Jamshedpur have also secured top positions.
