Nanded, September 10, 2025: Residents of Nanded have a reason to cheer as the runway repair work at Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Airport has been completed. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has granted approval for resuming flight operations, which will restart from Wednesday, September 10, 2025.

The runway had suffered major damage following heavy rainfall two weeks ago, forcing a temporary suspension of flights. With urgent repairs carried out through the Maharashtra Airport Development Authority, normalcy has been restored.

Former Chief Minister Ashok Chavan expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu, and Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol for their prompt intervention to ensure the repair work was completed swiftly.
