MHADA Lottery Pune 2025: Nearly 7,000 Affordable Homes Announced Across Pune Region, Apply Online by Oct 31
Applications open until October 31; transparent digital process introduced with DigiLocker integration
A major development for homebuyers in the Pune Metropolitan Region has been announced. The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has launched its 2025 housing lottery, offering 6,968 homes across Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad, Solapur, Kolhapur, and Sangli districts. Of these, 1,982 homes will be available through MHADA housing projects and the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) on a first-come, first-served basis.
The official launch took place at MHADA’s Pune office on Thursday. The event was attended by Shivajirao Adhalrao Patil, Chairman of MHADA’s Pune division, along with Chief Officer Rahul Sakore. Patil highlighted that this year’s lottery will be conducted through a more transparent computerized system.
Key Details of MHADA Lottery 2025:
- Total homes available: 6,968
- First-come-first-served scheme: 1,683 flats
- PMAY scheme: 299 flats
- 15% and 20% reservation schemes: 4,986 flats
- PMC jurisdiction: 1,538 flats
- PCMC jurisdiction: 1,534 flats
- PMRDA jurisdiction: 1,114 flats
Application Process & Deadlines:
- Applications can be submitted online until October 31, 2025.
- The provisional list of applicants will be published on November 11.
- Objections and claims can be filed until November 13.
- The final list of applicants will be declared on November 20.
- The lottery draw will be conducted on November 21.
New Requirements for Applicants:
This year, MHADA has introduced a mandatory DigiLocker integration. Applicants must upload Aadhaar and PAN details, along with their spouse’s documents, directly via DigiLocker. Updating and linking details on DigiLocker is now a compulsory step before completing the application.
