Jaipur witnessed a frightening incident at the Hingonia toll plaza when a truck tyre suddenly burst, causing a loud explosion that shattered the booth’s glass and damaged the computer inside.
A toll worker who was at his desk at the time narrowly escaped injury. The dramatic moment was caught on CCTV, and the video has since gone viral on social media, sparking discussions on vehicle safety and the condition of toll plaza infrastructure.
According to a report, the tyre burst occurred while the worker was handling routine tasks at the computer. The impact of the blast was strong enough to break the booth’s glass and leave the equipment badly damaged. Fortunately, the worker managed to avoid serious harm.
Previous Accident Near the Same Toll Plaza
This incident comes just days after a fatal accident near the Hingonia toll plaza. Two men, identified as Luv Kumar Meena (40) from Sanganer and Ashok Kumar Meena (22) from Mahua, Dausa, lost their lives when a gravel mixer truck collided with their motorcycle under the nearby railway overbridge.
Police reports state that Ashok, who worked as a cab driver, was taking Luv Kumar to Jhar Bassi village when the accident occurred. Both were rushed to SMS Hospital’s trauma centre but succumbed to their injuries during treatment. Their post-mortems were conducted, and the bodies were later handed over to their families.
