Nita Ambani turned heads at the grand premiere of The Bads of Bollywood, Aryan Khan’s much-talked-about debut series, with a look that perfectly balanced tradition and modern couture. Walking the red carpet with her husband Mukesh Ambani, she stole the spotlight in a striking jade green lamé saree designed by Manish Malhotra.

The shimmering saree was paired with a Chantilly lace blouse embroidered with Swarovski crystals, adding just the right mix of elegance and glamour. Malhotra described her look on Instagram as “a beautiful blend of enduring elegance and new-age couture.”

What made her appearance truly unforgettable was the jewelry. Nita wore a floral-inspired necklace crafted from rare Paraiba tourmalines and heart-shaped diamonds, set in sculpted turquoise titanium. The vivid blue-green hues of the stones made the piece a showstopper, complemented by matching earrings, a diamond bangle, and a heart-shaped diamond ring.

What is Lamé?

Lamé is a fabric woven with metallic threads like gold or silver, giving it a reflective, shimmery finish. With origins dating back over 4,000 years, it was once reserved for royalty and nobility. Today, while more widely available, genuine lamé with precious metals remains a luxury textile often used in haute couture.
