Mumbai, September 25, 2025: The state transport corporation’s (ST) mobile app has recently gained increasing popularity among passengers, with nearly 10 lakh users currently on the platform. This information was shared by Transport Minister and ST Corporation Chairman Pratap Sarnaik.

Minister Sarnaik stated that the ST Corporation recently upgraded its mobile app to a new version to make bus reservation services more convenient for passengers. Instead of relying on traditional ticket counters or traveling to bus stations, passengers can now book tickets, check travel schedules, and access other information directly from their smartphones.

Since the launch of the new MSRTC Bus Reservation app on April 1, 2025, passenger response has been overwhelming. In March 2025, around 3.94 lakh passengers were using the older mobile app. After the upgraded app release, approximately 6.72 lakh passengers used the new version in May 2025. Currently, out of 10 lakh users, an average of 5 lakh passengers book tickets via the updated app every month.

App Rating and Significance
