Pune: PCMC Submits List Of 1,686 Unauthorized Constructions In Blue Floodline Zones Of Pavana, Mula and Indrayani Rivers
Pimpri, September 29, 2025: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has submitted a list of 1,686 unauthorized constructions located within the blue floodline zones of the Pavana, Mula, and Indrayani rivers to the office of the Deputy Registrar. The list was prepared after a detailed survey conducted by all eight regional offices of PCMC on the directives of Municipal Commissioner and Administrator Shekhar Singh.
The identified structures include residential houses, commercial shops, tin sheds, RCC buildings, temporary brick houses, and scrap shops, all of which fall under flood-prone zones. Officials have clarified that no sale, purchase, or registration of these properties should be carried out to prevent fraud and safeguard citizens. Notices have also been issued against these illegal constructions by the respective ward offices.
PCMC has appealed to residents to avoid transactions related to such properties and to verify government records before making any financial commitments.

- G Zone:Â 175 (Pimprigaon, Pimpri Waghire, Subhashnagar, Sanjay Gandhi Nagar)

Total: 1,686 unauthorized constructions
