Maharashtra Govt Extends Deadline For Class 12 Online Applications To October 20Â
Mumbai, September 30, 2025: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has extended the deadline for regular students to submit online applications for the Class 12 examinations scheduled for February-March 2026. The new deadline for regular fee submissions is now October 20, 2025.
The extension comes in the wake of heavy rainfall across the state, which could have made it difficult for students to submit applications on time. Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister had instructed School Education Minister Dadaji Bhuse to provide relief to students. Acting on these instructions, Minister Bhuse directed the state board to implement the extension.
Regular students must submit their applications online through UDISE+ using their PEN-ID via their junior college heads. Students enrolled in vocational courses, repeaters of all streams, private students with registration certificates, as well as those under category improvement schemes or appearing in ITI (Industrial Training Institute) subjects via credit transfer, must submit their applications through their respective junior college heads. The extended deadline for online submission of these applications on the official website www.mahahsscboard.in is October 20, 2025.
Similarly, the deadline for private students to submit registration applications (Form No. 17) for Class 10 and Class 12 examinations in February-March 2026 has been extended to October 15, 2025.
In addition, the board has also extended the deadline for proposals to approve new examination centers for Class 10 and Class 12 exams from September 30 to October 10, 2025.
