No More Waiting At Bus Stops: ‘Aapli ST’ App Brings Real-Time Updates For 12,000 MSRTC Buses And 1 Lakh Routes
Mumbai, October 2, 2025: Passengers waiting at MSRTC bus stops will now be able to track the exact location of their buses through a newly launched mobile application, ‘Aapli ST’. Transport Minister and MSRTC Chairman Pratap SarnaiK announced that the app will be formally launched on the occasion of Dussehra.
Developed with the support of Rozmalta Autotech Ltd., the app has mapped over 12,000 buses and more than 1 lakh routes across Maharashtra. Through the Passenger Information System, commuters can access real-time information such as bus departure times (STD) and estimated arrival times (ETA). This will help passengers avoid long waiting hours at stops and instead reach directly based on bus availability.
The app, available for both Android and iOS users, offers multiple features: finding the nearest bus stop, checking schedules between two stops, live bus tracking using service or ticket numbers, and access to emergency contact numbers with one-click calling.
Currently, live data for over 12,000 buses is available, and MSRTC plans to expand it to all buses soon. Ticket booking integration with live tracking is also being developed for passengers who reserve seats in advance.
Minister SarnaiK emphasized that ‘Aapli ST’ (a Marathi name meaning Our ST) will make bus travel more reliable, transparent, and passenger-friendly. He also urged commuters to provide feedback so that the app can be continuously improved.
At present, the app can be downloaded from the Play Store under the name MSRTC Commuter App, but it will soon appear with the new identity Aapli ST.
