Pune: Parge Nagar Residents Raise Civic Concerns In Meeting With Kondhwa Police Officials
Pune, October 3, 2025: Residents from Parge Nagar in Kondhwa actively participated in a meeting with Senior PI Vinay Patankar and PI Afroze Pathan recently, highlighting pressing civic and community issues.
Key matters raised included the nuisance of stray dog feeding in random areas, illegal sales and parking chaos caused by pan shops and cafés near Yash Rhythm, and loudspeaker as well as traffic issues around schools.
PI Pathan advised residents to immediately report stray feeding incidents, with his direct contact available through resident Sameer Panjabi. On the issue of pan shops and cafés, police assured stricter enforcement, while PMC officials have earmarked spaces for parking boards. A follow-up meeting with RTO and Senior PI Maruti Patil of Kondhwa traffic division is also planned to implement fines and enforcement.
Regarding noise and traffic disruptions around schools, PI Pathan accepted a written complaint and assured prompt action. If schools fail to comply, residents were advised to escalate the matter to the Shikshan Samiti.
Residents expressed gratitude for the proactive response from the police and emphasized that united efforts are driving real change in the neighborhood.
