Pune, October 19, 2025: In a heartwarming gesture of compassion and community service, the Loni Kalbhor Police extended Diwali support to families affected by the devastating flash floods that struck Ruke Vasti in Theur on September 15, 2025. During the cloudburst-like rainfall, several homes were inundated, leaving residents with significant losses and hardship.

Demonstrating solidarity with the affected residents, officers and staff from the Loni Kalbhor Police Station voluntarily contributed funds from their own salaries to provide relief. Under the guidance of Senior Police Inspector Rajendra Panhale and Crime Inspector Smita Patil, the collected amount was used to distribute essential food supplies, Diwali items, and sweets to 28 flood-affected families in Ruke Vasti.

The distribution program was held on October 18, 2025, at the Loni Kalbhor Police Station, where Senior Police Inspector Rajendra Panhale personally handed over the relief materials. The initiative reflected the humane side of law enforcement—spreading light and hope among those who lost much during the natural calamity.
