Gold Prices Fall in Pune on Chhath Puja 2025; Silver Rates Also Dip
Gold And Silver Prices Crash After Budget 2026, Buyers Get Relief Ahead Of Wedding Season
On the occasion of Chhath Puja 2025, gold prices in Pune dropped noticeably, following the nationwide decline influenced by global market trends.
As of Tuesday, October 28, the rates in Pune are:
- 24-carat gold: ₹12,246 per gram (₹1,22,460 per 10 grams)
- 22-carat gold: ₹11,225 per gram (₹1,12,250 per 10 grams)
- 18-carat gold: ₹9,184 per gram
Silver prices also slipped slightly, in line with international movements, and are currently around ₹1,54,900 per kilogram.
Market analysts attribute the drop to a stronger US dollar, cautious investor behavior, and uncertainty surrounding the US Federal Reserve’s next interest rate decision.
However, experts believe that festive and wedding season demand will likely support gold prices in the coming weeks despite the current dip.
