Pune News: Pimpri-Chinchwad Fire Brigade Rescues Bull That Fell Into Well
Pimpri-Chinchwad, November 18, 2025: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s (PCMC) fire brigade carried out a swift and skillful rescue after a bull accidentally fell into a well in Tapkirnagar, Wadgaon Mukhwadi area of Charholi Budruk.
Upon receiving information about the incident, a team from the Chovisawadi Sub-Fire Station rushed to the spot. With the help of a crane arranged by local residents and additional support from people who gathered at the site, the fire brigade successfully rescued the bull, saving its life. The incident took place around 6:30 pm on November 16.
Once the fire team reached the well, locals called for a crane to assist in lifting the animal out. Fire personnel descended into the well and carefully secured the bull using a rescue belt and ropes. After stabilising the animal, the team lifted it out safely. Firefighters Amol Ranjane, Vishal Pote, Rishikesh Ranjane, Shubham Borade, Sanskar Chavan, and Sachin Thosare participated in the rescue.
