Ayodhya Ram Mandir Updates: Revised Entry & Darshan Schedule Announced Ahead of PM Modi’s November 25 Visit
Ayodhya Ram Mandir Updates: Revised Entry & Darshan Schedule Announced Ahead of PM Modi’s November 25 Visit
As Ayodhya prepares for an important ceremonial visit by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 25, the temple town is gearing up for a day of heightened activity and cultural significance. The Prime Minister will participate in a special flag-hoisting ceremony at the Ram Mandir, coinciding with the auspicious observance of Ram Vivah, a day deeply cherished in the Hindu calendar.
To manage the expected rush of officials, dignitaries, and security personnel, the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has released a revised set of entry rules and darshan timings. With thousands of devotees planning to arrive later in the day and more than 7,500 guests invited for the event, authorities have restructured schedules to maintain order and ensure a smooth experience for everyone involved.
Below are the updated guidelines for November 25:
Ayodhya Ram Mandir – Updated Entry Rules & Travel Advisory
1. Public entry suspended until 2:30 pm
For security reasons linked to the Prime Minister’s visit, the Ram Mandir will not be open to the general public before 2:30 pm. Only invited attendees carrying valid QR-coded passes will be permitted inside the temple complex during the first half of the day. This temporary restriction is aimed at maintaining security and ensuring unobstructed arrangements for the ceremony.
2. Darshan to resume post-event
Once the flag-hoisting ceremony concludes, regular darshan for devotees will begin after 2:30 pm. Given the heavy rush anticipated, the temple may keep darshan hours open later into the night. Visitors, especially those travelling long distances, should prepare for longer waiting lines and possible route diversions around the temple premises.
3. No VIP privileges the following day
The day after the event will feature a prolonged darshan window lasting 15–16 hours, with no VIP movements scheduled. This extended period is meant to accommodate devotees arriving after the ceremony and to ease crowd pressure.
4. Aarti timings unchanged
Despite the event, the temple’s daily aarti rituals will follow the traditional schedule:
Mangala Aarti: 4:30 am
Shringaar Aarti: 6:30 am
Rajbhog Aarti: 11:30 am
Sandhya Aarti: 7:30 pm
Shayan Aarti: 9:30 pm
5. Online pass booking continues
Devotees can secure passes for darshan and aarti sessions through the temple trust’s official online portal. Visitors must provide valid identification and download the QR-enabled pass. However, booking availability may be intermittently paused due to heightened security procedures around the event date.
6. Travel guidelines for visitors
Authorities strongly advise travellers to reach Ayodhya at least one day early to avoid heavy congestion on November 25. Public and shuttle transport options are recommended, and visitors are encouraged to carry minimal luggage. Real-time updates regarding crowd control and travel routes will be shared through official communication channels.
