KBC 17: Amitabh Bachchan Dances With Indian Women’s Cricket Team in Special Episode
Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 will feature a special episode celebrating the World Cup-winning Indian Women’s Cricket Team. Host Amitabh Bachchan will welcome players such as Harmanpreet Kaur, Harleen Deol, Richa Ghosh, Shafali Verma, Deepti Sharma, Sneh Rana and team head coach Amol Muzumdar.
In a promo released by the makers, Amitabh Bachchan is seen chatting with captain Harmanpreet Kaur. When he asks how the team celebrates after a win, she replies, “We dance.” Big B then joins the players on the dance floor and is seen grooving to the popular song Chull from Kapoor & Sons, with Harmanpreet guiding him through the steps.
The upcoming episode promises fun conversations, on-field stories, team bonding and cheerful interactions between the players and Amitabh Bachchan. The show will also highlight the pride and achievements of India’s Women in Blue.
However, star opener Smriti Mandhana is missing from the episode. She reportedly skipped the shoot after her wedding, scheduled for November 23 with singer Palash Muchhal, was postponed. The ceremony was called off hours before the event due to health emergencies — Smriti’s father Srinivas suffered a heart attack, and Palash was also admitted due to stress-related issues. Both have since been discharged, but no update on the new wedding date has been shared.
Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 airs Monday to Friday at 9 pm on Sony Entertainment Television, with episodes also available on Sony LIV.
