Mohamadwadi Resident Reported Missing; Search Underway After Family Files Police Complaint
Pune, December 6, 2025:
A 54-year-old Mohamadwadi resident, Powal Borah, has been reported missing after he disappeared from his home in Amruta Heights, Ghule Nagar, earlier this week. According to the missing complaint registered with Kalepadal Police Station, Borah was last seen on December 4, 2025, at around 1 pm before he left his residence under unknown circumstances and did not return.
Family members stated that Borah’s sudden disappearance is deeply concerning, as he rarely steps out alone and has no prior history of going missing. His son, Arun, immediately approached the police after attempts to trace him through neighbours, friends, and nearby areas yielded no results.
Police officials have begun inquiries in and around Mohamadwadi and adjoining localities, checking CCTV footage, questioning residents, and sharing Borah’s details with patrolling units.
Authorities have also urged citizens to remain alert and report any sightings to assist in the ongoing search.
