PMRDA Launches E-Auction Of 30 Land Parcels On 80-Year Lease In Pune And Pimpri Chinchwad
Pune, December 14, 2025: In a major initiative aimed at accelerating planned urban development, the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has announced an online e-auction of 30 land parcels located across Pimpri-Chinchwad and Pune rural areas. The plots will be offered for the first time on a long-term lease of 80 years, marking a significant step in the authority’s land monetisation and infrastructure development strategy.
According to PMRDA officials, the land parcels within the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation limits include three plots earmarked for educational purposes, bine plots for commercial and public utility use, one medical-use plot, one public utility plot for a library or music school, and one facility centre plot. In addition, the e-auction also covers 14 amenity space plots in Pune rural areas and one commercial plot located at Bhamburda (Shivajinagar).
The plots will be allotted to eligible and interested individuals or institutions through a transparent online e-auction process. Detailed information regarding eligibility criteria, terms and conditions, and bidding procedures is available on the government e-auction portal eauction.gov.in and the official PMRDA website pmrda.gov.in.
Metropolitan Commissioner Dr Yogesh Mhase has urged developers, institutions and stakeholders to participate in the e-auction, stating that the initiative will play a key role in supporting the overall growth and planned development of the Pune Metropolitan Region.

Registration and document download: December 15, 2025 (10 am) to January 13, 2026 (5 pm)
Announcement of technically qualified bidders: January 22, 2026
Live e-auction: January 23, 2026, from 11 am
The PMRDA expects the e-auction to attract strong interest and contribute to the creation of essential infrastructure and public amenities across the rapidly expanding Pune region.
