Pimple Saudagar, January 2, 2026: A new chapter of development is set to begin in Pimple Saudagar–Rahatani’s Ward No. 28, said BJP’s official candidate Anita Sandeep Kate, expressing confidence ahead of the upcoming civic elections. Extending New Year greetings to residents, she outlined her commitment to bringing comprehensive change to the ward.
Speaking to citizens on the occasion of the New Year, Kate said she has prepared a clear roadmap to accelerate development, guided by the leadership at the state and city levels. She stressed that development should benefit every resident of the ward, not just a select few.
Highlighting key civic priorities, she said focused efforts would be made on road repairs, water supply, sanitation, street lighting, traffic management, drainage systems, gardens, and the upgradation of modern gym facilities. She also assured initiatives for women through self-help groups, health camps for senior citizens, and the establishment of sports and career guidance centres for youth.
Wishing residents a year filled with new hope, success, and happiness, Kate interacted with citizens across the ward. During these meetings, many voters voiced a strong demand for meaningful change and development-oriented leadership.
Emphasising action over promises, she said future development works would be planned and implemented based on citizens’ feedback and local needs.
