According to the IMD forecast, minimum temperatures across the state are expected to rise by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius, signaling the end of the intense winter chill.
On Sunday, January 25, 2026, Maharashtra is likely to experience dry and sunny weather in most regions. With no rainfall predicted, residents can expect clear skies and increasing daytime warmth.
In Mumbai and the Konkan region, the easing of winter will lead to a rise in humidity and a slight increase in daytime heat. Weather conditions will remain largely dry, with warmer days and reduced nighttime chill due to higher minimum temperatures.
Pune, Solapur, and Sangli are expected to witness predominantly summer-like conditions. The maximum temperature may hover around 29°C, while the minimum temperature is likely to be around 15°C. Humidity levels are expected to remain near 43 percent, and there is no forecast of rainfall. Light fog may be seen in some areas during the early morning hours.
In North Maharashtra, including Nashik, the weather will remain dry and clear. Minimum temperatures are likely to range between 14°C and 16°C, with bright sunshine during the day. The reduction in cold intensity will bring a pleasant change in overall weather conditions.
Across Marathwada, including Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, maximum temperatures may reach 31°C, while minimum temperatures are expected to remain around 16°C. Clear skies and strong sunshine during the day are likely.
In Vidarbha, particularly Nagpur, the weather on January 25 will remain clear. Morning temperatures may range between 15°C and 17°C, while afternoon temperatures could rise up to 28°C.
