Pimpri-Chinchwad, January 26, 2026: The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has announced a temporary disruption in water supply across several parts of the city following the detection of a leak in a major raw water pipeline in the Ravet area.

According to an official press note issued by the civic body, the leakage was identified on the main raw water pipeline supplying water to the city. The Water Supply Department has immediately taken up repair work, which is expected to be completed by this evening.

Due to the ongoing repair work, the evening water supply in many areas of Pimpri-Chinchwad will remain suspended on Tuesday. In some localities, residents may experience water supply at low pressure. The municipal corporation has also cautioned that low-pressure water supply may continue in certain areas on Wednesday as well, depending on the restoration process.
