Pune | February 10, 2026: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE), Pune, has announced that the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC/Class 12) examinations will be conducted from February 10 to March 18, 2026 across the Pune division.

According to official data, a total of 2,59,966 students from Pune, Ahilyanagar, and Solapur districts will appear for the Class 12 examinations at 437 examination centres across the division. The exams will be conducted through 2,003 junior colleges, supported by 48 examiners and coordinated through 437 centres.

District-wise Student Distribution:
Pune: 1,27,964 students
Ahilyanagar: 61,455 students
Solapur: 54,875 students
Total: 2,59,966 students

To ensure copy-free and fair examinations, the education board has announced the implementation of a strict anti-malpractice or copy-free campaign across all three districts.

Technology-Driven Security Measures:
As part of a pilot project, the board will introduce GPS-enabled digital lock trunks for the secure transportation of question papers from protection centres to examination centres in Baramati taluka. This system will be used for:
12 HSC exam centres
17 SSC (Class 10) exam centres

Additionally, all examination halls across the division will be monitored through CCTV surveillance and Zoom App and Google Meet monitoring systems to ensure real-time supervision and transparency.

Administrative Monitoring:
Flying squads led by the Divisional Commissioner, District Collectors, Chief Executive Officers, Divisional Deputy Director of Education, District Education Officers of Pune, Ahilyanagar and Solapur, DIET Principals, and Deputy Education Officers will conduct surprise inspections at examination centres.
Special static squads will also be deployed at sensitive and vulnerable centres requiring enhanced supervision.
