Pune: Fire on Terrace of Ganga Heights Building at Sinhagad Campus; No Injuries Reported
Pune | December 19, 2026: A minor fire broke out on the terrace of the Ganga Heights building located near Pannalal Hostel at the Sinhagad College campus in Wadgaon Budruk, Pune on Thursday afternoon.
According to officials from the Navale Fire Station, the emergency call was received at 11:05 AM, and the fire tender reached the site at 12:18 PM. The incident was categorized as a fire emergency.

The fire occurred on the terrace of the G+5 storey building, where garbage materials, plastic bottles, and mattresses had caught fire. Before the arrival of the fire brigade, local residents acted swiftly and managed to control the flames using buckets of water.
Upon inspection, fire officials confirmed that the situation was under control and there was no further danger. Necessary safety instructions were issued to the concerned residents, after which the fire brigade team safely returned to the station.
No injuries or major damage were reported
