Pune Shocker: “You Are So Beautiful,” Delivery Boy said Holding Woman’s Hand; Booked For Molestation In Shivajinagar

Accused allegedly held the woman’s hand and made inappropriate remarks after asking for water; police register case and launch investigation.

A shocking incident of alleged molestation has come to light in Pune’s Shivajinagar area, where a delivery boy has been booked for misbehaving with a young woman after delivering a parcel to her home.

According to police, the accused has been identified as Shridhar Kamble. A case has been registered against him at Shivajinagar Police Station following a complaint filed by the woman and her husband.

What Happened

The incident reportedly took place on March 6 at around 5 pm. The woman, who lives in Shivajinagar, had ordered household items through an online delivery service.

When the delivery boy arrived with the parcel, the woman opened the door and accepted the delivery. After handing over the package, the delivery boy allegedly told the woman that he was thirsty and asked for a glass of water.

Out of courtesy, the woman went inside and brought him water. However, when she handed over the glass, the delivery boy allegedly held her hand and made an inappropriate remark, saying “You look very beautiful.”

The woman was shocked by the sudden behaviour and felt frightened by the incident.

Family Members Were At Home

At the time of the incident, the woman’s young child and mother-in-law were also present inside the house. After the delivery boy left, the woman immediately informed her husband about what had happened.

The couple then approached Shivajinagar Police Station and lodged a formal complaint against the delivery worker.

Police Action

Following the complaint, police examined the delivery details through the mobile application used for the order and identified the delivery boy as Shridhar Kamble.

Police have registered a case of molestation against the accused. CCTV footage from the area has also reportedly been obtained as part of the investigation.

Officials said efforts are underway to trace the accused and further legal action will be taken after the investigation progresses.
